Quake Hits Overnight... Felt in Tulsa

A strong, for Oklahoma, earthquake shook southeastern parts of the state early Sunday morning. The quake was near the town of Quinton. It hit just after four o’clock.

No damage was reported from the 3.7 quake. People reported feeling the quake throughout eastern Oklahoma, including in the Tulsa area, about 75-miles north of the epicenter.

Another, even stronger quake was recorded in Kansas near Hutchinson. It was rated a 4.1 by the USGS.
