Tulsa, Oklahoma – The Mental Health Association in Tulsa's annual Seger Seminar, now in its 10th year, will happen on Thursday and Friday of this week (the 6th and 7th) at the Central Center, near 6th and Peoria (in Centennial Park). The Seger Seminar usually focuses on treating depression and/or suicide prevention, and this year's seminar will particularly examine the mental-health needs of our military veterans returning from combat. Our guest on today's show is Dr. Heidi Kraft, who'll be a keynote speaker at this year's Seger Seminar. Dr. Kraft is a former U.S. Navy psychologist --- she's also the author of "Rule Number Two: Lessons I Learned in a Combat Hospital," the title of which alludes to a memorable bit of dialogue from the TV show M*A*S*H: "There are two rules of war. Rule number one is that young men die. Rule number two is that doctors can't change rule number one." Dr. Kraft will speak on both Thursday and Friday; her address on Thursday is free and open to the public. For more information, please visit http://www.mhat.org/MHAT/Seger_Seminar_EN.asp.
