Rain Forces Bugs to Stay Inside

Chances are great you are seeing more bugs this spring around your home or apartment. You can blame the wet weather for the influx of little buggers. 

Brian Hale is with Mother Nature’s Pest Control in Tulsa. He says they are getting lots of calls from people seeing crickets, cockroaches and rolly-pollies around the house.  He says the pests are staying inside where it is dry.

While termites love to fest on wet wood, their colonies are well below ground and are rarely affected by flooding rains. However, he says this year’s termite swarm was particularly heavy.
