Saint Francis Tulsa Tough Canceled for 2020

Organizers of one of Oklahoma's premier cycling events have canceled 2020 races because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Saint Francis Tulsa Tough will not be held this year. It was scheduled for June 12–14.

Organizers considered moving the three-day event to a later date, but decided there was no guarantee city permits would be available, some key vendors wouldn't be able to make the switch, the coronavirus threat could be ongoing and medical personnel may not be able to staff the event.

"As the world is in the process of healing from the devastating blow of COVID-19, we believe that hitting the pause button on Saint Francis Tulsa Tough is the only responsible choice. We will be working hard to make sure the 15th Saint Francis Tulsa Tough is worth the wait and hope to see everyone back in 2021," said Executive Director Malcolm McCollam.

The 15th Saint Francis Tulsa Tough is slated for June 11–13, 2021.

All current registrations for crits and fondos will automatically be deferred to the next event. Riders who prefer a refund may request one.

Registrants will receive instructions from race organizers on deferrals and refunds.
