Signs Stolen From Flooded Roadway

Wagoner County Sheriff's Office

Someone is stealing “High Water/Road Closed” signs in Wagoner County. The sheriff’s office says signs were removed near White Horn Cover and people drove into highway on Sunday. They had to be rescued by emergency responders in chest deep water.

Wagoner County Sheriff Chris Elliot said, “anyone caught removing county signs will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
