Stormy Weather Ahead

Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible
this morning across northeast Oklahoma into western
Arkansas as a cold front moves through the region.

Patchy fog is expected to develop late Tonight across much
of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas as low level moisture
returns in advance of the next storm system.

Thunderstorms are expected to develop across eastern Oklahoma
Sunday evening as a cold front moves into the region. These
thunderstorms will spread to east across the area through
the night. There is expected to adequate instability and deep
layer shear for some of the thunderstorms to become severe. This
is especially true along and south of Interstate 40 across
southeast Oklahoma and west-central Arkansas. The severe
storms will be capable of producing wind gusts to around 60 mph,
quarter size hail and possibly a tornado. The showers and
thunderstorms are expected to end Monday morning as the cold front
exits the region.
