Thursday's top stories:

  • Tulsa Health Department Executive Director Dr. Bruce Dart says the city of Tulsa is not ready for the lifting of its "Safer At Home" order because of failing to meet federal guidelines. The order will still lift at midnight tonight.
  • Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum says that as businesses begin to reopen tomorrow, the Tulsa Police Department will be enforcing public safety guidelines, and the city will shut down businesses that are not in compliance.
  • Members of Governor Kevin Stitt's Council for Workforce and Economic Development are concerned the new federal unemployment benefits of $600 a week to qualifying out-of-work Oklahomans will disincentivize the state's workforce from returning to their jobs.
