Tulsa Councilor is Learning Ways to Spend Tax Dollars More Efficiently

Public Radio Tulsa

A Tulsa leader studies ways to better spend your money. District 9 Representative G.T. Bynum is the only city councilor in the nation invited to be part of Money Ball for Government. It’s a program used successfully elsewhere, finding more efficient ways to spend tax dollars by finding strategies than work and discarding those that don’t. Bynum says it’s a practice used successfully in several other cities.

He says being part of this program should make Tulsa one of the national leaders in performance based budgeting.
