Tulsa Police are sorting through the details of a triple shooting on the city’s near south side. The shooting left two people dead and a third in the hospital. It happened last night at about 6:30 in the parking lot of the Vasa Fitness Center. The center is in the old Albertsons/Food Pyramid supermarket at 51stand South Memorial.
Police say the victims were all acquainted.
Homicide Detective Brandon Watkins: “One victim died shortly after being transported to the hospital. A second victim is now dead and the third is being admitted for his wound, which does not appear to be life-threatening. Two of the three victims appear to have been in an altercation when guns were drawn and a gunfight erupted. We are still looking for additional witnesses.”
No names have been released.
