Tulsa, OK – (Note: This show originally aired last year.) Today we hear from Howard J. Ross, the founder and chief learning officer at Cook-Ross, Inc., a corporate consulting firm. Ross is also a nationally recognized expert on diversity, leadership, and organizational change, and he's just put out a book called "Reinventing Diversity: Transforming Organizational Community to Strengthen People, Purpose, and Performance." Diversity has been a primary goal --- indeed, a familiar buzzword --- in businesses, firms, and other organizations across America for at least a generation now...so why are so few organizations truly or fully inclusive? That's the key question on our show today. And in his new book, Ross employs interviews, personal stories, statistics, and case studies to show that accepting diversity must become part of the culture --- the very fabric --- of a given company, not just a mandated attitude or mindset.
