Focus: Black Oklahoma

Focus: Black Oklahoma is an exciting experiment in citizen journalism covering various topics relevant to Oklahoma’s African-American community, featuring segments on politics, education, health, business, arts, culture, and more. This new partnership and radio program is the vision of Quraysh Ali Lansana with Tri-City Collective, and it is produced by Public Radio Tulsa's Scott Gregory in collaboration with Tulsa Artist Fellowship and the Tulsa Community Foundation.

The executive producers of the show are Lansana and Gregory, with production assistance from Bracken Klar and Ali Shaw. Focus: Black Oklahoma is an hour-long program airing every third Thursday on KWGS Public Radio Tulsa 89.5 at noon, with a rebroadcast every third Friday at 8pm.
