Tulsa teachers are back in the classroom, getting ready for the first day of classes on Monday. This morning, educators gathered for a back-to-school pep-rally of sorts. Tulsa School Superintendent Doctor Keith Ballard praised the teachers for their dedication.

The teachers heard from Ballard, School Board President Gary Percefull, former State School Superintendent Sandy Garrett and the head of the Tulsa Classroom Teachers’ Association. President Lynn Stockley focused on the importance of teachers in the classroom.
