Tulsa, Oklahoma – On today's show, we offer a delightful conversation with the veteran musical-theatre dancer/director/choreographer/producer Chet Walker, who first danced on Broadway at the age of 16, and who appeared in such landmark shows as "Lorelei," "The Pajama Game," "Pippin," and "Sweet Charity." Having grown up with Bob Fosse and Gwen Vernon as his mentors, and having participated in countless dance projects over the years --- for both stage and screen, and at venues all over the globe --- Walker also originally conceived and co-choreographed the 1999 Tony Award-winning musical, "Fosse." Walker will give an informal lecture on jazz dance --- and will present a dance revue employing TU students --- on Saturday the 5th at 7:30pm; it will happen in Theatre 2 of Kendall Hall on the TU campus. (Walker's residency at the TU Department of Theatre is made possible by a Feagin Visiting Artist Grant.
