Tulsa, OK – On this edition of ST, we hear from Ronald Young, who studied theatre and music here at TU (several decades ago) before setting off to New York City to become a professional dancer and choreographer. Upon arriving in Manhattan, the tall, handsome, and good-natured kid from Grove, Oklahoma, would quickly (and consistently) find work in some of the biggest Broadway musicals of the Sixties and Seventies, among them "Hello, Dolly!" and "Mame" and "A Chorus Line." Young, who's recently moved back to his home state, shares his life story in a new memoir, "The Only Boy Who Danced." We hear about that memoir, and the incredible life behind it, on today's show.
