Carney, OK – Quake shakes Lincoln County

CARNEY, Okla. (AP) Authorities say an earthquake registering 3.0 on the Richter scale shook parts of Lincoln County.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake was reported about a mile southwest of Carney and 23 miles south of Stillwater. It was felt from Chandler to Tryon.

A Lincoln County 911 center dispatcher said reports of the earthquake came in at 9:57 p.m. Thursday.

There were no reports of damage.
