Oklahoma City, OK – Delaware Nation receives federal grant

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The Delaware Nation of Oklahoma has been awarded a $100,000 federal grant to support its water pollution control program.

The Dallas office of the federal Environmental Protection agency announced the grant to the Anadarko-based tribe on Wednesday.

The tribe is expected to continue surface water sampling on tribal land to determine if a more thorough watershed management program is needed to develop water quality standards.
