Tulsa Job Loses

Tulsa, OK – Tulsa's Automated Research closes doors

TULSA, Okla. (AP) More than 100 people found themselves without their jobs and without their last paychecks when a Tulsa marketing company abruptly closed its doors.

Automated Research and Marketing ended operations on Tuesday. Workers say that on Tuesday they were told to leave the business and that the company could not provide their last checks.

Former employee Eunice Reed told Oklahoma City television station KWTV that she feels like she was "robbed."

There was no answer at the Tulsa office Sunday night, and a number for the company's headquarters in Fayetteville, Ark., led to a recording that said the line had been disconnected.

The company's Web site, which has been taken down, said Automated Research and Marketing has operated for nine years.
