Helena, OK – Authorities seek 2 escapees in northwest Oklahoma
HELENA, Okla. (AP) Authorities are searching for two inmates who escaped from the James Crabtree Correctional Center in Helena in northwestern Oklahoma.
Prison officials say 44-year-old Daniel Kelly and 48-year-old Ronnie Ray White were reported missing after a head count about 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
Corrections Department spokesman Jerry Massie says the two are believed to have taken a prison truck that's missing from the facility. The Corrections Department Web site says White is also considered armed and dangerous.
Kelly has theft, concealing stolen property and grand larceny convictions while White was in prison for theft, robbery and larceny.
