Stillwater, OK – The State Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs confirms it has arrested former OSU Basketball coach Sean Sutton on drug related charges. OSBND spokesman Mark Woodward, tells KWGS News,(in interview above) Sutton was arrested late yesterday when he went to pick-up prescription medication that had been shipped to him in Stillwater. The Bureau says the package contained Adderall and Clonazepam.

Woodward says Sutton was doctor shopping and obtaining multiple prescriptions for medication. He was first question by the bureau last fall and agreed to go into treatment. However, after treatment, he apparently resumed his habit. However, rather than getting local prescriptions, the drugs were being shipped from Washington State and New York.

Sutton is the son of Eddie Sutton and took over the OSU program after his father was linked to a DUI accident.
