Coweta, OK – Okla woman killed in accident near Coweta
COWETA, Okla. (AP) A Sapulpa woman has been killed in a single-vehicle accident near Coweta.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 38-year-old Jennifer Day was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident about 2:25 a.m. Saturday.
Troopers say she was driving her pickup truck north on a Wagoner County road when she lost control of the vehicle. The truck ran off the road, returned to the pavement and then rolled, ejecting her.
A passenger, Michael Beman, was admitted to a Tulsa hospital in stable condition with head and arm injuries.
The patrol says neither Day nor Beman was wearing a seat belt.
