Grove, Oklahoma – For the 4th time in 2 years Delaware County voters reject a sales tax increase to expand the county jail.
Now inmates are being released and bonds lowered to reduce over crowding.
The current jail was built to house 62 inmates- but has about 70 prisoners right now.
The tax proposal would have added 100- beds to the jail.
