Oklahoma City, OK – MLK Day events planned in Oklahoma
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Events to mark Martin Luther King Day in Oklahoma include a bell-ringing ceremony with Gov. Mary Fallin and parades.
Monday is the official celebration of the birth of the late civil right leader.
A bell-ringing ceremony with the governor was scheduled to start at 11 a.m. at the Oklahoma History Center in Oklahoma City. A parade is to begin at 2 p.m. in Oklahoma City.
An 11 a.m. parade was also held in Tulsa in honor of King.
