Tulsa, OK – The assessment fee charged to downtown businesses inside the inter dispersal loop to pay for the new OneOk-Field, is debated at City Ha;;
Nine property owners came before the council last night to protest the fee. Most were from the Gunboat Park area in the far southern section of the I-D-L. Andrew Nelson says he is getting nothing in return for his fee.
The assessment is six and a half cents for each square foot of assessed value. The Council approved the assessments on a four-to-three vote, but lacked the needed fifth vote for an emergency clause.
