Sapulpa, OK – A wild fire just to the north of Sapulpa raged as crews from Sapulpa, Berryhill and Glenpool did battle on a hot Tuesday afternoon.
The fire spread from 81st to 91st along Frankhoma Road. The Creek County Sheriff's Office closed down the roadway.
The Red Cross was on stand-by at the scene to aid any fire-fighters overcome by the heat. The temperature was 102-degress as fire fighters fought the blaze.
