Tulsa, OK – Jury Selection got underway in the federal trial of two Tulsa Police officers indicted for being on the wrong side of the law.

Prosecutors had originally asked for a 30-day delay in the trials of Jeff Henderson and Bill Yelton. However, the motion to delay the case while the prosecution reviewed some 500-pages of discovery was withdrawn just before the scheduled start of the jury selection.

The officers are accused of lying, witness tampering and civil rights violations. As a result of the federal probe over three dozen court cases have been dismissed as suspects in other crimes.
