Stillwater, OK – Missing elderly man sought in Oklahoma., Arkansas
STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) A 96-year-old man with dementia who disappeared is being sought by authorities in Oklahoma and Arkansas.
The Payne County Sheriff's Office says Jon Whitmore was last seen walking on a county road Thursday morning.
His wife told investigators that Whitmore told her a few days ago that he might go to Arkansas.
Payne County authorities have asked other agencies to report any contact they've had with a confused elderly man.
Whitmore was last seen wearing glasses, blue jean overalls and a tan or light-colored Carhart jacket.
