Man Dies after Accident at Oklahoma City Oil Rig

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Authorities say a man died after an accident at an oil rig in southeast Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City television station KWTV reports that the accident happened at about 10 p.m. Monday in the 3400 block of Southeast 59th Street.

Authorities say the man was pinned beneath metal at the oil rig. Authorities say coworkers freed the man and performed CPR, but they weren't able to save him.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released his name.
