Ceiling Collapses at Oklahoma Nursing Home

BETHANY, Okla. (AP) — Officials say no one was injured when the ceiling collapsed in the dining area of a Bethany nursing home.

Oklahoma City television station KWTV reports the ceiling fell in the dining area at Forest Glade Retirement Community during lunchtime Saturday.

Officials say 35 residents at the retirement home were in the dining area when the ceiling collapsed. Everyone was safely evacuated.

Fire officials say a sprinkler head broke, causing sheet rock in the ceiling to fall.
