A woman is dead following a grinding car crash in Sand Springs. Killed in the crash was 43-year-old Nita Marie Roden. It happened just before seven this morning on West 41st Street, between Berryhill and Prattville.
Three cars collided blocking the entire roadway. The Sand Springs Police Department closed down the roadway and redirected traffic to 51st or Avery Drive.
Police believe the car Roden was driving crossed the center line and plowed head-on into oncoming traffic.
The drivers of the other two cars were transported to the hospital. Only drivers were in the three vehicles.
