TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Preliminary hearings set for two brothers charged in the January shooting deaths of four women at a crime-plagued Tulsa apartment complex have been postponed.

Cedric and James Poore were scheduled for hearings Tuesday in the killings of 23-year-old twins Rebeika Powell and Kayetie Melchor, 33-year-old Misty Nunley and 55-year-old Julie Jackson. They've pleaded not guilty.

A judge on Tuesday postponed the hearings until attorneys could argue several motions filed by Cedric Poore's legal team, such as a request to have his arrest thrown out. The judge set argument for April 17.

Police say the Poores stayed at the same apartment complex as the women, who were found bound and shot in the head.

Authorities believe the brothers robbed the women, then killed them because they feared they would be identified.
