A major fire in downtown Nowata is now under control. Fire fighters are watching for hot spots following a 5 a.m. blaze at a feed store on U.S. Highway 60.
There were no reports of injuries and no evacuations, despite dangerous pesticides and the highly combustible feed stored at the facility.
Firefighters from Nowata and Washington Counties responded to the blaze to battle the fire.
There is no word on the cause, at this time. U.S. Highway 60 remains closed in Nowata.
