Tulsa County leaders are pleased this morning. The two sales tax questions on yesterday's county-wide ballot were approved by voters with over 65% of the vote.
One measure would build a new Juvenile Justice Center for Tulsa County. The other measure would expand the Tulsa County Jail.
Also on the ballot yesterday:
- Shawna Keller is elected to the Tulsa School Board.
- Richie Stewart is elected to the Bixby City Council.
- John Fothergill is elected to the Sand Springs City Council.
- Bond issues at Owasso are approved.
