Federal, state, and local leaders deliver a progress report on one of the largest Tulsa road projects in recent history.
The gathering on the almost completed Lewis bridge was to display the final phase of the widening of I-44 from Riverside to Yale. Instrumental in the more than five year, 400 million dollar project is U-S Senator Jim Inhofe, who helped with federal funding to complete the work.
The final phase at Lewis Avenue, including a new bridge over I-44, is scheduled for completion this summer.
