CATOOSA, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma authorities say a motorcyclist has died in a collision with a piece of heavy machinery.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 50-year-old Daniel White of Lenapah died Thursday afternoon. Troopers say White collided with a front-end loader that was trying to turn onto a service road in Catoosa.

They say White wasn't wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the front-end loader wasn't hurt.

Catoosa is 15 miles east of Tulsa.
