Broken Arrow Police find and arrest a state prison escapee.
An officer questioned a man and a woman in a vehicle stopped in a hotel parking lot at 2600 N Aspen Ave. around 6:45 a.m. Thursday.
The man initially gave a false name, but a second officer identified him as Robert Schesny. Schesny was reported as a Department of Corrections escapee from the Union City correctional facility.
The woman identified herself as Courtney Schesny. Officers found she knew of Robert's escapee status, and she was charged with harboring a fugitive. She also had a City of Broken Arrow warrant and was charged with drug possession.
DOC took custody of Robert at the Broken Arrow City Jail.
