The U.S. Small Business Administration is open in Sand Springs for disaster loan applications.
SBA spokesman Kevin Wynne said homeowners, renters and businesses can apply for low-interest loans with no closing costs or upfront fees to repair storm damage.
"It's available for folks in Tulsa County and all the contiguous counties that touch Tulsa," Wynne said. "So, Sand Springs area and all the contiguous counties because SBA recognizes that contiguous counties also had an impact from the disaster that occurred on March 25."
The office is at 110 E Broadway and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Home owners can get up to $240,000 dollars, while businesses can qualify for up to $2 million.
The agency also has loans of up to $2 million available for businesses seeing fewer customers so they can meet basic needs until customers come back.
"Payroll, notes payable, keeping the lights on, the rent paid — the business can stay going," Wynne said. "It also helps the community, because the business isn't leaving the community."
People can apply for the loans online or in person.
