TULSA, Okla. (AP) — A Tulsa County judge assigned to the case of a volunteer deputy accused of manslaughter in the shooting of a restrained man says he's considering recusal over his close ties to the sheriff's office.

District Court Judge James Caputo says he hopes to decide by tomorrow whether to continue with the case. Reserve deputy Robert Bates has pleaded not guilty in the April 2nd death of Eric Harris.
