A Claremore fire fighter is dead in a tragic accident during a water rescue. It happened early Sunday Morning at an apartment complex near Highway 20 and Archer in Claremore.
The flood waters pushed the lid from a storm-drain manhole. The fire fighter stepped into the hole and was swept away. His name has not been released.
His body was recovered around 1 a.m.
