SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) — Police lifted an hourslong lockdown at a central Oklahoma university after they say an armed suspect left the area.
Oklahoma Baptist University spokesman Kenny Day says city police notified the school Sunday afternoon that a suspect they'd been chasing had fled on foot onto the campus. Day says the lockdown ended Sunday evening after Shawnee police verified the suspect was not on campus.
