TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The Tulsa County Park Board has approved an $18 million plan to upgrade the 192-acre Chandler Park between Tulsa and Sand Springs.

The board approved the plan Tuesday that includes new and renovated camping and picnic facilities.

County officials say the first financial step toward implementing the plan is an April vote on the county's 0.05 percent capital movement sales tax.
