A 19-year-old woman has been convicted of second-degree murder in the 2014 death of a Piedmont teen.

A jury in Oklahoma County found Chloe Marie Thomas of Oklahoma City guilty late Friday and recommended a sentence of life in prison.

Thomas was accused of helping kill 16-year-old Anne Josette Hill, following a botched robbery. Prosecutors alleged Thomas and 18-year-old Chadd Phillip Raymond lured Hill to an Edmond apartment on April 11, 2014, to rob her and steal her car. Raymond has pleaded guilty in the case and is serving a 35-year sentence. He testified against Thomas during the trial.

Prosecutors allege that the defendants choked Hill to death and disposed of her body. Hill's remains were found last year in a rural part of McClain County by a seismography crew.
