OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office has tentatively identified human remains found in a field in Harrah.

Investigators say the skeletal remains are those of 27-year-old Zachary Lang. Officials say DNA testing is needed to make a conclusive identification but that items found at the scene on Tuesday link the remains to Lang.

Lang was last seen on Dec. 20, 2013, while officers were trying to take him into custody on several warrants. He was spotted repeatedly that day, but officers lost Lang after he ran into a wooded area.

A deer hunter found a skull and a boot in the field, prompting deputies to investigate. Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel says investigators also found other bones and believe the remains have been in the field for one to two years.
