Oklahoma transportation officials say crews have cleared snow and sleet from most parts of the state, but cautioned that some roadways remain hazardous.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation said Sunday that crews are treating isolated slick spots in the eastern part of the state. The agency cautioned drivers to use extra caution traveling on highways in northeastern Oklahoma because they still could be slick.
The agency says crews were clearing snow from highways Sunday morning in western and northwestern Oklahoma and on road shoulders in the central part of the state.
A blast of arctic air on Saturday brought snow, sleet and bitterly cold temperatures to the state.
The National Weather Service says temperatures weren't expected to make it out of the upper teens or 20s on Sunday throughout Oklahoma.
