Strong Quakes Shake North Central Oklahoma

A late Sunday afternoon earthquake shakes north central Oklahoma. The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake was a 4.2. It was centered to the east of Enid in Garfield County. The quake was just over three-miles deep. It struck about 5:15 Sunday afternoon.

Another quake, of the same magnitude, struck the same area at 9:40 last night.

The quakes were  felt over a large section of Oklahoma, including here in Tulsa. There have been no reports of injuries.
