An investigation has started into a trooper-involved shooting Saturday evening near Highway 169.

The Patrol says man jumped from car ran away.
Shots were fired and the suspect was hit. He was rushed to the hospital. There is no word on the man's condition as of this writing.
A gun was found at the scene.
