If you are planning a rally at the Oklahoma State Capitol, you’ll have to post a bond if a Spiro State Senator gets his way.
Republican Mark Allen’s bill would require a $50-thousand bond to be posted for any rally with over 100 people. The money would be used for clean-up of the capitol grounds following the rally.
Opponents say the plan would have a chilling effect on the 1stAmendment.
