Tulsa, Oklahoma – On today's show, we hear from Dwight Rhoden of the New York-based Complexions Contemporary Ballet company. Next week, Choregus Productions will present two performances by this stylistically, culturally, geographically, and aesthetically far-flung dance collective --- on February 22nd and 23rd at the Tulsa PAC. As we learn on today's edition of ST, Rhoden co-founded Complexions with Desmond Richardson, a dancer with whom Rhoden worked closely and frequently when both were employed by the highly influential choreographer Alvin Ailey. For both of its first-ever Oklahoma performances, Complexions will be performing new as well as established works from its adventuresome and critically acclaimed repertoire.
