Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa Fire Fighters' union did NOT follow the example set by the FOP. The Union voted to take a five-point-two percent wage cut rather lay-offs. The union's action will save the jobs for 147 fellow fire fighters.

The fire fighter's union says its rank and file will take a pay cut for 17-months in order to ensure jobs.

Tulsa's other two city unions, Police and support staff, voted for lay-offs.
