Jones, OK – Small earthquake recorded near Jones
JONES, Okla. (AP) The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting it recorded another small earthquake near Jones.
The 2.8 magnitude quake was recorded at 9:32 p.m. Sunday near Jones about 25 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
No damage or injuries have been reported.
Quakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3 are generally the smallest felt by people.
There have been more than 40 small earthquakes in the area since 2009.
