Tulsa, OK – This is not the time of year, most people think about growing crops. But it is if you are in the Mexican Drug Cartel.
Rather than ship drugs to the state, the cartel has been hiring people to grow the crop here. The state Bureau of Narcotics Mark Woodward says they are going to shut down the operations.
Woodward says the bureau has busted several operations this year with ties to the cartel.
